P.M Modi delivered a remarkable speech on 12th of May mentioning the fact of self-dependent India (Aatm nirbhar Bharat). He further mentioned the importance of technological development by India for fighting against Covid-19. So, considering P.M's speech, let's see what are innovation and research work going in different prestigious techno Institution of Bihar. 1.) Indian Institute of Technology, Patna:- IIT Patna is working on different types of innovative works with the motive to provide technical support to healthcare workers. Joining hand with Sybyline Robotics, Incubation centre of IIT Patna is developing face shield, to provide supports to the healthcare workers. Mechanical department and Incubation centre of IIT Patna is working very hard with student community to provide tools to medical staff with their developments. The face shield is protective equipment for healthcare workers. The shields are made by 3D panting and laser cutting technology. Dr Atul Thakur and Dr Rishi Raj who are the associate professor at the Mechanical department are supervising and guiding the development team. 2.) Indian Institute Of Information Technology, Bhagalpur:- 2017 established IIIT Bhagalpur is one of the rapidly growing technical institutes of Bihar under MHRD. During this COVID-19 pandemic, IIIT Bhagalpur is innovating new healthcare tools like smart ventilator and X-Ray based corona detection software device. The smart ventilator is an AI( artificial intelligence) based device. It is more efficient and cost-effective than normal ventilators as mentioned by the director of IIIT Bhagalpur. X-RAY based corona detector is also an AI-based software device which works on computer programming command. The development team is lead by director Dr Arvind Chouby and the team consists of associate professor Dr Sandeep Raj and Dr Gaurav Kumar from Electronic communication and Mechatronics department respectively. 3.)Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Muzaffarpur:- MIT Muzaffarpur is one of the prestigious technical institution of Bihar which is funded by the Bihar government. Partnering with FIGHT CORONA IDEATION Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology is developing tools and innovating ideas of startup to fight the threat that passed by COVID-19.
